On Wednesday, November 26th, Diversions Entertainment will be ending the Limited Test release of One Must Fall:Battlegrounds in preparation for Retail game release and the Public Demo.
Over the last several months, the Limited Test has proven an invaluable tool as our long-time fans and the world at large have had the opportunity to become a part of the One Must Fall Community and directly influence the final stages of development. Those already signed up for the limited test as of November 25th will continue to have Limited Test access and enjoy testing releases until the Demo version of One Must Fall: Battlegrounds is released. Diversions is proud to be in the final stages of development and release, we expect the Gold Master to be announced soon with a shelf date to follow.
Pursuing our commitment to quality games, and our dedication to a fun and enjoyable release, Diversions will continue development on the game all the way up to and following retail release, improving and fixing our game far into the future. Within a few months of retail, Diversions anticipates releasing the DE Editor, a set of modification tools to add new content and gameplay to Battlegrounds, extending the game’s value indefinitely as our community begins to produce their own ideas and gameplay.
Expect to see the game on shelves for purchase mid-December. Battlegrounds is available for pre-purchase through Gamestop, Ebgames, and Diversions Publishing for a small deposit. Pre-order your game now and ensure that you have a copy on release day!
In January 2004, Diversions Publishing will bring the first post-release developer-supported tournament to the ATI Cyber X Games in Las Vegas, Nevada at CES. Players will have the opportunity to enter in both individual and team tournaments with the release version of One Must Fall to compete for cash prizes and computer accessories. A Diversions Entertainment OMF development team member will also be on hand to demonstrate the game and provide one-on-one, hands-on, in-game training with interested spectators. Copies of One Must Fall: Battlegrounds will be available for purchase at the event for interested players.
ATI Cyber X Games
Diversions Entertainment is proud to announce that One Must Fall: Battlegrounds is coming to Washington D.C for the Xcelerator v.4 Gaming Show and Tournament. Diversions Entertainment will be featuring a beta of One Must Fall: Battlegrounds PC fighting game and providing attending players with free copies of the Limited Test demo of Battlegrounds. At least one developer from the One Must Fall team will be on-hand to showcase the game to players, allowing them an opportunity to sit down and be walked through the game by a member of the Diversions Entertainment team in booth 708.
