Wayne's Log - June 05, 2003
First log entry. Whee. I think. You know I used to sit around this site, hovering for weeks posting in the forum waiting for kevin and juan and rob to get around to making log entries. It hasnt been as big a thing in the last year or so because the team has been working so hard on the game that they arent taking time for things like this. Most of the new guys on the site probably dont even know what im talking about or realize that these sections exist because there havent been any updates since the new site went up. But back in the day, when the site had more java than any website has any right to have, and the antics in the motion capture studio was the hot topic of the forums, this set of pages was where it was at. New stuff from rob on how this or that is going along in the game. A rant about how this graphic bit or that bit wasnt how he thought it should be. Mmmm.

To sit here now and have my own log posted in this section is insane. If you had asked me a year ago what id be doing id probably say something about sitting in an office wearing a tie running some servers or something about a college campus. If you had told me that I would one day be part of diversions entertainment, that I would somehow be on the inside with the guys who have been creating a game ive been following for years, I would probably tell you your nuts and look around for the guys waiting with the straitjacket.

OMF is kicking more rear than ever before. The beta is looking great, its being well recieved. This game kicks more llama's rear than anything else ever released. Yeah, im biased, but i have also seen kevin and juan play each other. Ive been here as we have play tested new features at night, run the beta on my own even after work playing some of the beta members. The message board test is coming. When that comes out, you all will see just how much One Must Fall makes any fighter you have ever played decrepit, extinct. That one on one style of gameplay is dead.

Long Live One Must Fall.
