MmMmMm. Limited test. Another hundred or so people that i can start to beat down with my mad skillz and
absolutely elite playing style.
Walk Back Fu. Fear ME.
Oh well, just a few more days before we unleash the limited test on the world, and they can experience for themselves the utterly dominating glory that is One Must Fall:Battlegrounds! Its looking good so far, the game is performing well. Working on the server code, want to get some new servers up for the community at limited test time so working with rob to provide some server features to make hosters happy. Next person to ask me about linux server code gets a duck chucked at them. Thats a rob decision, we certainly plan to support it, however releasing the game comes first. Linux code is down the road a ways.
Robs been breaking out his Hammer O' Bug Crushing Glory for the past week or so, the codes tightening up and alot of the nuts and bolts have been tightened down, the finish line is in sight in the far off distance, and the team is running like crazy people to get to it. Juans in balance-tweak mode, working on animation linking, move balancing, visual tweaks, and subtle animation changes to ensure that balances, additions, and changes in charachter fighting do not unbalance the game. The recent addition of air combos to the game has really been a big change, perhaps even fundamental. Players now have the ability to dodge after a couple of air hits, which has provided an additional level of depth and complexity for advanced players to experience.
I made a post on what keeps the team going, I cant help but smile when i re-read it now. You know, grab a few HARs from the game, get juan's GI Joes on the march, start running Kevin's gundams, and let Nanook loose and we could take over the world! With the help of my spider-killing knife, of course.
